Job Overview

We are seeking a highly motivated and organized individual to join our team as a Yard Attendant.

As a Yard Attendant, you will be responsible for maintaining the cleanliness and organization of our delivery yard area, bin area, and store rooms.

Your Key Responsibilities

These will include:

  • Maintaining the organization and cleanliness of the delivery yard area
  • Maintaining the organization and cleanliness of the bin area
  • Maintaining the organization and cleanliness of all hotel store rooms
  • Emptying bottle skips daily and ensuring plenty of skips available for operations team
  • Ensuring hotel follows waste segregation procedures: General/recycling/compostable
  • Bailing all hotel cardboard
  • Taking in deliveries and cross checking with delivery docket
  • Putting away all deliveries - following stock rotation of first in, first out (FIFO)
  • Delivering stock around the hotel as needed

Requirements

To succeed in this role, you will need:

  • Excellent communication skills
  • Self-motivated and have a positive attitude
  • Passionate about hospitality and excellent service
  • Flexible with own transport
  • Strong interpersonal, leadership, time management and organizational skills
