About the Job
  • Maintenance and repair of a diverse range of vehicles, including light and heavy goods vehicles, trailers, and vans.
  • Carrying out routine servicing and repairs to ensure our fleet remains in top condition.
  • Conducting thorough inspections to identify potential issues before they become major problems.
  • Fault finding and preventative maintenance to minimize downtime and optimize efficiency.
  • Collaborating with other team members to achieve shared goals and objectives.
Key Responsibilities
  • Maintaining a clean and organized workspace to ensure safe working practices.
  • Investigating and diagnosing vehicle issues, making recommendations for repairs and maintenance as needed.
  • Troubleshooting and repairing equipment to resolve technical issues efficiently.
  • Recording and submitting reports on work completed, including any notable achievements or challenges.
  • Supporting the development of junior technicians through mentorship and guidance.
Requirements
  • Qualified HGV Mechanic with at least 3 years' experience in a similar role.
  • Excellent diagnostic skills, with a strong understanding of mechanical systems and technologies.
  • Strong communication and teamwork skills, with the ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment.
  • Organized and self-motivated, with a commitment to delivering high-quality results under pressure.
