Main Responsibilities:

  • Assist with personal care tasks, including dressing, washing, and toileting.
  • Ensure the dignity, privacy, and independence of our clients are maintained at all times.
  • Provide companionship and emotional support to our clients.
  • Complete accurate activity sheets and other mandatory records as assigned.

Requirements:

  • At least 1-year relevant experience in care provision.
  • Hold a minimum of 2 QQI Healthcare modules, including Care Skills and Care of the Older Person.
  • Level 5 qualification desirable, preferably QQI recognised or obtained from Allied Health Therapy.
  • Up-to-date Patient Moving & Handling certificate.
  • Satisfactory Garda Vetting.
  • Full, clean drivers' licence.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
