Truck Driver Role

We are seeking a highly organised and enthusiastic truck driver to join our team.

This is a dynamic role that involves working with us in providing waste management and recycling services across Ireland.

  • The successful candidate will be responsible for inspecting their vehicle before leaving the company site.
  • They must ensure all collections and deliveries are made in a professional and timely manner.
  • Effective issue resolution and escalation to relevant departments will also be an essential part of this role.
  • The candidate will report to the Transport Manager throughout the day.
  • They will also be required to report any incidents or accidents to the Transport Manager.
  • Following routes and time schedules will be another critical aspect of this job.
  • The candidate will need to establish good working relationships with customers and colleagues.
  • Compliance with Health and Safety regulations will be mandatory.
  • Any malfunctions or faults with the truck must be reported to the Transport Manager.
  • The candidate will also be responsible for refuelling the truck at the end of shift.
  • Performing ad hoc duties as requested will also be part of this role.
Key Requirements
  • The ideal candidate will possess excellent interpersonal and communication skills.
  • They must hold all relevant C Licence/Driver Digital Card/CPC Card certifications.
  • A good level of written and spoken English is an advantage.
  • The candidate should have an excellent driving history with an accident-free record.
