Transformation Finance Expert

We seek an experienced Transformation Finance Expert to join our team. In this role, you will lead the design and implementation of autonomous AI agents executing finance-related Statements of Work (SOWs) with deterministic outcomes.

  • Define and communicate the strategic business case for agentic AI in finance.
  • Align AI initiatives with organisational goals, including cost centre optimisation and transaction reduction targets.
  • Lead the design and implementation of AI agents capable of decomposing SOWs into executable steps with deterministic outcomes.
  • Oversee the integration of reusable AI skills and workflows into finance systems.
  • Ensure robust governance, including human-in-the-loop oversight, auditability, and compliance with financial reporting standards and data protection regulations.

This is a pivotal role that requires strong leadership skills, extensive finance experience, and expertise in operational excellence and transformation.

Requirements

To be successful in this role, you will need:

  • Bachelor's degree in Finance or related field and extensive finance or process transformation experience.
  • OR equivalent experience.
  • Experience with governance, compliance, and risk management in financial environments.
Preferred Qualifications

The ideal candidate will have:

  • Experience implementing operational processes, systems, and controls.
  • Strong understanding of AI technologies, agentic systems, and deterministic workflows.
  • Proven experience in finance operations, ideally within a transformation or automation context.
  • Accounting Qualification.
  • Lean / Six sigma.
  • Master's degree in Finance or related field.
