Operations Leadership Role

We are seeking an experienced Operations Leader to oversee the management of outsourced R&D and Manufacturing activities. The successful candidate will have a proven track record of driving operational efficiency and alignment with company goals.

This leadership role requires a strategic thinker who can identify risks, develop mitigation strategies, and manage vendor contracts. The ideal candidate will also have excellent communication and organizational skills, with the ability to adapt to fast-paced environments.

  • Key Responsibilities:
  • Manage outsourced R&D and NPI activities to ensure alignment with company goals and product development timelines
  • Oversee outsourced Manufacturing and Service activities, ensuring integration and alignment with company goals and product demand and needs.
  • Directly manage sales process to exclusive distributor for efficient supply of products
  • Manage logistics and compliance requirements for international supply of products
  • Collaborate with internal and external teams to support products lifecycle management
  • Identify operational risks, develop mitigation strategies, and manage vendor contracts
  • Lead and mentor operations team, fostering a culture of excellence and continuous improvement
Requirements:
  • Qualifications:
  • 10+ years experience in operations management within the medical device industry
  • Bachelor's degree in Engineering or related field; advanced degree preferred
  • Proven success in leading operational functions in regulated environments
  • Strong strategic thinking, problem-solving skills, and contract management abilities
  • Excellent communication and organizational skills, with adaptability to fast-paced environments
