Job Description
The successful candidate will be responsible for leading the infection control team, ensuring that all patients receive the highest standard of care in a safe and clean environment. Key responsibilities will include:
- Leading the development and implementation of infection control policies and procedures;
- Maintaining accurate records of infections and outbreaks;
- Collaborating with multidisciplinary teams to ensure effective communication and coordination;
- Providing education and training to staff on infection control best practices;
- Conducting regular audits to monitor compliance with infection control standards;
Required Skills and Qualifications
To be considered for this role, candidates must possess:
- A registration as a General Nurse with the NMBI;
- An Infection Control qualification;
- Excellent interpersonal and communication skills;
- Proven experience in a leadership or management role within a healthcare setting;
- A minimum of 5 years post-registration experience and 3 years experience in IPC;
