**Job Overview**
We are seeking a highly skilled Biotechnology Specialist to join our team at Regeneron Ireland DAC. In this role, you will play a key part in ensuring the quality and integrity of our products by performing various microbiological tests and analyses.
About the Role
This position involves working in a laboratory environment, where you will be responsible for conducting bioburden and endotoxin sample analysis, as well as performing environmental monitoring, including surface, settling, and viable and non-viable particulate air monitoring of aseptic operations and controlled areas.
You will also be involved in the acceptance testing of commercially prepared microbiological culture media, autoclaving microbiological media and laboratory waste as needed, and ensuring all work is carried out in compliance with regulatory standards, company policies, and standard operating procedures (SOPs).
Required Skills and Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Microbiology or a related field
- At least 2 years of experience in a similar role, preferably in a regulated industry
- Strong trouble-shooting and problem-solving skills
- Excellent written and oral communication skills
