About the Role

The successful candidate will be responsible for acting as a Contracting Entity's representative, coordinating and administering contractual obligations in accordance with framework agreements and Work Orders (call-off contracts) under various programmes.

This role involves liaising with relevant departments to ensure contractual compliance and supports the achievement of strategic objectives.

The Contract Administrator will effectively manage contractual communications systems and provide expert advice on NEC Contract matters to the NEC Project Manager, where required.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Ensure Contractual Compliance: Monitor and report any instances of non-compliance to the Contract Manager.
  • Implement Contract Strategies: Develop and implement agreed-upon contract management strategies to optimize performance.
  • Performance Management: Set and monitor Key Performance Indicators (KPIs) to evaluate Contractor and/or Consultant performance.
  • Target Setting and Review: Establish targets within Incentive Schedules and review contractor performance against these targets.
  • Evaluations and Improvement Plans: Conduct performance evaluations and establish improvement plans for Contractors and/or Consultants, as necessary.
  • Contract Advice and Support: Provide guidance on contract administration issues, including compensation events, early warnings, and payment applications.
