Electrical Design Engineer Role Overview

\Helpers are essential to the design and development of automated equipment. As an electrical design engineer, you will be responsible for creating and delivering electrical designs that facilitate the manufacture of complex automated systems. Your work will include design, sourcing, procurement, and guidance to build teams, as well as assisting in debug and test activities when necessary.

Key Responsibilities:\* Developing electrical designs for complex automation projects\\[i] Detailing electrical schematics for build\\[i] Sourcing electrical components for designs\\[i] Creating test plans and documentation packs for developed electrical designs\\[i] Assisting in electrical debug of systems\\[i] Liaising with customers and suppliers\\[i] Meeting project delivery deadlines

Requirements:\* General electrical/electronic engineering degree or diploma, preferably with manufacturing content\\[i] Minimum 3 years industry experience involving electrical design, industrial wiring, and debugging of manufacturing equipment\\[i] Familiarity with machine elements such as electrical controls, AC/DC motors, servo motors, inverters, general panel equipment, drives, and pneumatics\\[i] Experience using software packages (Eplan, AutoCAD, Microsoft Office)\\[i] Basic knowledge and understanding of PLC programming and controls methodologies\\[i] Enthusiastic, self-motivated, and driven to deliver within normally expected timelines\\[i] Team player who fits well within a professional team\\[i] Legally able to work in Ireland\\[i] Willingness to live near Sligo as the role is office-based\\[i] Current driving licence and ability to travel as required
