Market Trading Role


We're seeking a detail-oriented professional to join our Fixed Income Trading desk. The ideal candidate will be responsible for risk management, strategy configuration and implementation, and primary market trading.


The trader will work closely with operations, compliance, brokers, and custodians to mitigate risk and generate revenue for the firm. This role involves designing, operating, and improving high-performance algorithmic trading strategies deployed on both electronic trading venues and RFQ trading platforms around the world.


Our team has the opportunity to work closely with software engineers to enhance and further develop the firm's trading strategies. We are looking to significantly expand our current product offering to cover all underlying asset classes.


Requirements:


  • 2-5 years of experience working in a trading support role or in a comparable role at a trading firm or financial institution.
  • Excellent academic background with a quantitative lean (computer science, math, sciences, economics, and related fields).
  • Bond experience is required; knowledge and experience pricing, settling, clearing fixed income is beneficial. ETF knowledge is a plus.
  • Strong ability to communicate information confidently and with agility to both clients and colleagues internally.
  • Technical proficiency - SQL and Python are used by most traders at our firm to work more efficiently. Prior experience in these or other programming languages is required.
