Job Title

Assistant Director of Nursing - Cork City


Cork city is seeking a senior nurse to lead and manage its nursing team.

The successful candidate will have significant experience in managing a team, leading projects and developing strategies to improve patient care.

This role offers an excellent opportunity for the right individual to join our management team and contribute to the delivery of high-quality care services.


Key Responsibilities

  • Must be active on the general register as maintained by the NMBI;

  • Minimum 6 years postgraduate experience required;

  • Minimum of 3 years' experience in Care of the Older Person over the past 6 years required;

  • Recent management experience highly desirable;

  • Post-registration qualification in dementia care, highly desirable;

  • A post-registration management qualification in health or a related field required;

  • Evidence of continuous professional development;

  • IT skills;

  • Eligibility to work in Ireland.


Requirements

  • Experience in managing a nursing team;

  • Leadership skills and ability to develop strategies;

  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills;

  • Ability to work autonomously with minimal supervision.
