The Emergency Department Registrar plays a vital role in delivering high-quality emergency care in a dynamic and supportive ED team.

Key Responsibilities- Provide comprehensive assessment, diagnosis, and treatment for a wide range of emergency presentations.
- Stabilize and manage critically ill and trauma patients under supervision.
- Participate in resuscitation, procedural sedation, airway management, and acute care interventions.
- Supervise and support junior doctors and medical students.
- Collaborate with inpatient teams and external healthcare providers to ensure safe patient transitions.
- Contribute to departmental education sessions, audits, and quality improvement initiatives.
- General registration or eligible under the competent authority pathway with AHPRA.
- At least 3 years post-graduate clinical experience, including time in emergency medicine.
- Sound clinical knowledge and decision-making skills in acute care settings.
- Demonstrated ability to work collaboratively in a multidisciplinary team.
- Excellent communication and time-management skills.
