Job Title: MEP Coordinator

Description

We are seeking an experienced MEP Coordinator to join our team in Clonmel, Co. Tipperary. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in Mechanical, Electrical and Plumbing (MEP) services and excellent communication skills.

This is a project-based position responsible for the overall MEP integration from design teams, specialist subcontractors, and other stakeholders to ensure successful project delivery.

The MEP Senior Coordinator will report to the Senior Project Team and be responsible for:

  1. Coordinating all phases of the MEP Services
  2. Engaging in pre-construction and planning, construction, testing, commissioning, and verification
  3. Managing utility connections
  4. Coordinating design team information and technical submittals in line with the project schedule
  5. Tracking and managing the flow of information between the design team and specialist subcontractors
  6. Coordinating, liaising with, and managing client-provided trades and suppliers
  7. Tracking changes and discrepancies between project drawings and technical specifications
  8. Providing the project teams with updates on MEP installation and progress via weekly report-outs
  9. Ensuring that the MEP works on site comply with Building Control Act Regulations (BCAR) requirements and all health and safety standards
  10. Leading the commissioning process
  11. Demonstrating MEP systems to clients/client representatives in accordance with design parameters
  12. Assisting in the production and upload of BCAR documentation
  13. Coordinating and submitting the safety file data for the client upon project completion

Required Skills and Qualifications

To succeed in this role, you will require:

  • A relevant third-level or professional qualification
  • 3-5 years' experience in a similar role
  • Excellent IT skills and a strong working knowledge of Microsoft suite
  • Ability to navigate BIM models
  • Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal
  • Good planning and organisational skills
  • Ability to work well under pressure and within strict deadlines
