The successful candidate will play a key role in providing psychosocial support to older adults experiencing mental health challenges.

Responsibilities:
  • Conduct comprehensive assessments and develop intervention plans tailored to individual patient needs
  • Provide therapeutic support, crisis intervention, and counselling to patients and their families
  • Advocate for patients' rights and facilitate access to appropriate community services and supports
  • Collaborate closely with multidisciplinary teams to ensure holistic, person-centred care
  • Develop and implement care plans for older adults with complex mental health needs

To be successful in this role, you will require a recognised qualification in Social Work and registration with CORU, as well as a minimum of two years' post-qualification experience as a Social Worker, with experience in mental health or older adult services preferred.
