We are seeking an EHS Specialist to support site R&D Operations with EHS technical guidance to ensure compliance with legal and corporate requirements related to EHS and industry best practices.

The successful candidate will promote our culture where all colleagues report near miss/good catch conditions and following up on these reports.

They will manage and coordinate the site training and EHS documentation system, collect data and track monthly performance of EHS Compliance and performance indicators.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Provide EHS technical guidance to support site R&D Operations ensuring compliance with legal and corporate requirements related to EHS and industry best practices.
  • Promote a culture where all colleagues report near miss/good catch conditions and follow up on these reports.
  • Manage and coordinate the site training and EHS documentation system.
  • Collect data and track monthly performance of EHS Compliance and performance indicators.
  • Carry out Accident and Incident Investigation and implementation of corrective actions.
  • Lead and co-ordinate Risk Assessments and maintain site risk register.
  • Partner with key stakeholders, provide subject EHS matter expertise across functions.
  • Support the implementation and maintenance of the Environmental, Health and Safety management system.
  • Facilitate external audits, follow up actions through to completion including sharing results, key findings etc.
  • Conduct internal audits for global compliance.
  • Influence and drive EHS culture development across all functions on site through engagement initiatives.
  • Lead and/or take part in EH&S projects where applicable.
  • Adhere to all environmental, health and safety requirements on site.
