Chief Data Strategist

We seek an experienced Enterprise Data Strategy Lead to drive the design, implementation, and oversight of our data strategy.

• This role requires a blend of hands-on execution and strategic leadership, encompassing defining long-term data priorities and standards.
• The initial phase will focus on establishing foundational processes, aligning historical datasets, and preparing for a major ERP system deployment.
• Over time, this role will evolve to shape enterprise-wide data governance, optimize cross-functional data usage, and enable informed decision-making across the organization.

Reporting directly to the Head of Corporate Development, the successful candidate will collaborate closely with teams across Finance, Commercial, Operations, Quality, Research & Development, Human Resources, and Information Technology.

• Develop and implement comprehensive data governance frameworks, policies, and standards across all functions.
• Act as a core team member of the ERP program, responsible for data governance, cleansing, migration, and readiness.
• Establish a data acquisition and generation strategy, including evaluation of external data sources.
• Design processes for collection, validation, storage, and integration of diverse data types.

• 5-10 years' experience in data governance, data management, or related fields.
• A proven track record of delivering large-scale data governance programs or ERP-related data initiatives.
• Experience handling complex, multi-faceted data sets across multiple business domains.

The ideal candidate will possess a strong technical foundation and excellent influencing skills to drive change across senior stakeholders without formal authority.
