Job Title: Utility Inspector

This is a unique opportunity to join our team as a Utility Inspector.

We are seeking a skilled and experienced individual to carry out inspections of overhead lines, record information, and perform visual checks of associated equipment.

The successful candidate will have excellent customer service skills, be able to work independently and as part of a team, and possess strong organisational abilities.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Carry out regular inspections of overhead line equipment to ensure compliance with health and safety regulations.
  • Record information and perform visual checks of associated equipment.
  • Work outdoors in all conditions, including extreme weather.
  • Risk assess activities throughout the working day.
Requirements:
  • Good customer service skills.
  • Strong organisational abilities.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
  • Current full and valid driving licence.
  • Basic computer skills.
  • Good verbal and written communication skills.
Desirable:
  • Previous surveying experience on overhead line networks.
  • Understanding of health, safety, quality, environmental (HSQE) regulations.
  • Previous patrolling experience on similar networks.
  • Previous experience with handheld data recording devices.
