Hodson Bay Hotel is seeking a highly skilled and motivated Lifeguard to join our team. As a Lifeguard, you will be responsible for ensuring the safety of our guests in the swimming pool area.

Your Responsibilities:
- Monitor swimmers and pool area continuously, maintaining constant vigilance to prevent accidents and enforce safety regulations.
- Enforce pool rules and guidelines to ensure the safety and behavior of guests.
- Provide excellent customer service by assisting guests with inquiries and offering assistance as needed.
- Perform regular inspections of pool equipment and facilities to ensure they are in proper working condition.
- Respond promptly and effectively to emergencies, including administering first aid and performing water rescues if necessary.
- Report any maintenance issues or safety concerns to the appropriate department for immediate resolution.
- Maintain cleanliness and orderliness in the pool area.
- Collaborate with other hotel staff to coordinate pool activities and events.
Requirements:
- Valid lifeguard certification from a recognized authority or organization.
- Proven experience as a lifeguard, preferably in a hospitality or resort setting.
- Strong swimming skills and physical fitness to perform water rescues and respond to emergencies effectively.
