Senior Automation Engineer

We are seeking a talented Engineering Professional to lead our automation efforts.
Job DescriptionThe successful candidate will be responsible for analyzing, understanding, and modifying software programs to optimize operational efficiencies while maintaining compliance.
- Key Responsibilities:
- Develop and review Design Documentation, Tender Documents, and URS documents as required.
- Generate, review, and approve Project Documentation, Validation Documentation, Trial Reports, and Standard Operating Procedures.
- Update and develop End User Manuals and provide training on new equipment/process functionality.
- Perform technical reviews of updates to SOPs related to the equipment/process.
- 5+ years Automation experience in a GMP environment
- Automation PLC experience required in Siemens S7, Allen Bradley PLCs, Rockwell
- Bachelor Degree in Engineering, Computer Science, IT or equivalent
- Validated environment with strong discipline in change control
- Integration of SCADA systems with MES
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
- Ability to document work clearly and precisely
- Excellent team player and communication skills
The ideal candidate will have excellent organizational skills and be able to work effectively in a tight schedule environment.
They will also have excellent interpersonal and communication skills and be able to understand technical documents.
Previous experience with IQ, OQ, and project documentation is highly desirable.
