Ghl Recruitment is seeking an experienced Accounts Administrator to join our team. In this role, you will be responsible for managing the financial operations of a nursing home in Kildare. This is an on-site role, ideal for a finance professional with Sage Accounting experience who thrives in a structured and detail-focused environment.

The successful candidate will be responsible for managing accounts payable and receivable, processing invoices, reconciling supplier statements, and managing payments. They will also be involved in resident billing, preparing and issuing invoices for care fees, liaising with families and funding bodies.

Maintaining accurate financial records and performing regular reconciliations are key responsibilities of this role. Additionally, the Accounts Administrator will be responsible for payroll processing, managing staff wages, deductions, and payroll queries. They will also assist in monitoring budgets and cash flow, ensuring financial transactions comply with regulations and assisting with audits.

The ideal candidate will have a minimum of two years' experience in an accounting or finance role, ideally in a healthcare or nursing home setting. Proficiency in Sage Accounting is essential, and a qualification in accounting, finance, or a related field is desirable.
