Caretaker Leader

We are seeking a highly skilled and dedicated individual to fill the role of Person In Charge. This position offers a unique opportunity to lead a team and provide exceptional care to our residents.

• Manage Service Operations: Ensure compliance with HIQA standards, implement policies and procedures, and coordinate appointments with the multi-disciplinary team.
• Lead and Manage Staff: Provide mentorship, supervision, conduct appraisals, and facilitate monthly team meetings.
• Promote Quality of Life: Develop person-centred care plans, coordinate health promotion, reviews, and personal risk assessments to ensure a high quality of life for residents.
• Support Resident Autonomy: Enable residents to have choice and control in their lives, develop citizenship, and maintain relationships with family and friends.

The ideal candidate will possess a QQI Level 7 Degree in Social Care or a relevant Allied Healthcare discipline, with a minimum of three years experience in a management or supervisory role in the Health or Social Care sector.
