Job Title: Senior Investment Professional

Description:

We are seeking a seasoned investment expert to lead our manager selection function, responsible for overseeing the sourcing, evaluation, and monitoring of third-party investment funds across all major asset classes. As a key member of our team, you will be instrumental in developing and implementing investment strategies that align with client objectives and broader investment goals.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop and implement investment selection frameworks and processes at scale, ensuring alignment with client objectives and broader investment strategy.
  • Lead the manager selection function, overseeing the sourcing, evaluation, and monitoring of third-party investment funds across all major asset classes.
  • Partner with portfolio management, strategy, and other internal teams to deliver a coherent, high-performing investment proposition.
  • Act as a visible thought leader, enhancing communications through research, publications, and client/industry events.
  • Mentor, develop, and manage a team of investment professionals to ensure continuous capability development.

Required Skills and Qualifications:

  • 15-20 years of investment experience, with significant expertise in manager/fund selection across equities, fixed income, and alternatives (private markets exposure advantageous).
  • CFA charterholder (or equivalent professional qualification).
  • Demonstrated leadership in ESG/SRI/sustainable investing and integration into investment policy.
  • Exceptional technical investment knowledge with a proven ability to innovate and challenge established practices.
  • Strong communicator and presenter with the ability to influence senior stakeholders and clients.
  • Highly collaborative, commercially minded, and strategically focused.
  • Proficiency with investment tools and platforms (Bloomberg, Morningstar, etc.).
