Our organization is seeking a highly skilled financial professional to manage and lead audits for a diverse portfolio of clients.

About the Role

This is an exciting opportunity for a qualified accountant with strong technical knowledge across audit, accounting, and compliance to contribute to team development and gain exposure to a wide range of sectors in a firm known for its excellent reputation and collaborative culture.

  • Manage a portfolio of SME and corporate clients, providing strategic guidance and support to help them achieve their business objectives.
  • Supervise, mentor, and review the work of junior team members, helping to develop their skills and expertise.
  • Prepare statutory financial statements and assist with regulatory filings, ensuring compliance with all relevant laws and regulations.
  • Oversee monthly and quarterly management accounts and reconciliations, providing timely and accurate financial information to stakeholders.
  • Review cash flow, oversee supplier payments, and conduct overhead analysis, helping to identify areas for cost savings and process improvements.
  • Liaise with clients to provide insights and recommendations on financial matters, building strong relationships and trust.
  • Support finance management on ad-hoc business and improvement projects, contributing to the development of new initiatives and strategies.
Requirements

To be successful in this role, you will need:

  • Fully Qualified Accountant (ACA, ACCA, or equivalent) with at least 1 year's post-qualification experience.
  • Experience working in a practice environment is essential, particularly in audit.
  • Strong technical knowledge across audit, accounting, and compliance.
  • Proven ability to manage multiple client relationships effectively, prioritizing tasks and deadlines to meet customer needs.
  • Excellent communication, leadership, and problem-solving skills, with a strong focus on teamwork and collaboration.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a high-performing team, adapting to changing priorities and circumstances.
