**Compassionate Nurse Required for Care of the Older Persons Facility in Co Wicklow

About the Role:

This is an excellent opportunity to join our team as a Registered General Nurse and make a real difference in the lives of our clients.

As a compassionate and skilled nurse, you will be responsible for providing holistic care to clients on site, including pre-admission assessments, medication reconciliation and administration, and maintaining accurate documentation.

You will also be responsible for reporting to the senior nurse on duty, providing care to short-term respite clients and rehab clients from the acute sector, and ensuring compliance with relevant regulations.

During day time, there will be a second nurse available, while evening and night shifts will be supported by a HCA/MTA.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Providing holistic care to clients on site
  • Conducting pre-admission assessments and medication reconciliation
  • Maintaining accurate documentation
  • Reporting to the senior nurse on duty
  • Providing care to short-term respite clients and rehab clients from the acute sector
  • Ensuring compliance with NMBI and HIQA regulations
Requirements:

To be successful in this role, you will need to have:

  • A current registration with the NMBI
  • Experience working in a Care of the Older Persons facility
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills
  • The ability to work effectively in a team
  • Good time management and organizational skills
