Role Overview

This position is part of a dedicated team that works to conserve and protect natural habitats, while also engaging with visitors and promoting environmental awareness. As an Assistant Ranger, you will play a vital role in maintaining the beauty and integrity of our outdoor spaces.

Job Description:

The Assistant Ranger will be responsible for a variety of tasks, including countryside maintenance, visitor management, and nature conservation. This will involve working outdoors in all weather conditions, as well as collaborating with colleagues to achieve shared goals.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Conducting site safety inspections and implementing measures to prevent accidents
  • Maintaining essential infrastructure, such as fences and gates
  • Supporting volunteers and engaging with visitors to promote environmental awareness
  • Participating in routine grounds maintenance and conservation efforts
Requirements:

To be successful in this role, you will need to demonstrate practical experience in land conservation and access management. You should also be comfortable working in a flexible and adaptable way, able to work alone or as part of a team.
