About the Role

This position is a fantastic opportunity to contribute your skills and expertise to the development of scalable backend systems that enhance search and personalization experiences.

  • Design and build high-performance services that power real-time fashion discovery and personalized recommendations.
  • Optimize search ranking and recommendation logic through backend engineering.
  • Work closely with cross-functional teams (frontend, data, product) to refine and deliver impactful features.
  • Write and review solution designs for complex backend challenges.
  • Mentor and support junior engineers through code reviews and knowledge sharing.
Required Skills and Qualifications

To be successful in this role, you will need to possess strong backend engineering experience with at least one JVM language (Java, Kotlin, Scala).

You should have built distributed systems and microservices at scale, as well as experience designing, building, and consuming robust APIs, particularly RESTful services and/or GraphQL.

A solid grasp of data engineering concepts and backend system design is also essential.

Familiarity with AWS, Kubernetes, and DevOps best practices is a plus.
