We are seeking a skilled and compassionate nurse to work one on one with a child with various disabilities in their own home.

Job Details

This role involves providing high-quality care and support to the child, including medication management, seizure management, nebulizer management, pain management, and care of the child with complex needs/disability.

  • MEDICATION MANAGEMENT: Administering prescribed medications to the child as needed.
  • SEIZURE MANAGEMENT: Monitoring the child for seizures and administering buccal midazolam if required.
  • NEBULIZER MANAGEMENT: Using a nebulizer to deliver medication to the child's lungs.
  • PAIN MANAGEMENT: Assessing and managing the child's pain levels.
  • CARE OF CHILD WITH COMPLEX NEEDS/DISABILITY: Providing physical and emotional support to the child with complex needs/disability.
Required Skills and Qualifications

To be successful in this role, you will need:

  • In date and current ABA/NMBI pin
  • Previous experience working with children
  • Willingness to undergo any training required
  • All nurses are required to undergo Garda Vetting
  • Nurses must be willing to register with the INMO or affiliated union
  • Full immunizations and Vaccination history will need to be provided
  • Full clean driving license desirable
