About Our OrganisationWe are a community-based voluntary organisation providing services to individuals with intellectual disabilities and their families in the greater Dublin area.
Our Adult Services division operates in three regions: North Region, North-East Region, and Southern Region, offering a range of services to promote independence and inclusivity.
This opportunity allows you to work collaboratively with our Speech and Language Therapists in delivering high-quality services to adults with intellectual disabilities.
Key Responsibilities- Develop and deliver Speech and Language Therapy services to adults with intellectual disabilities, under the direction of the SLT Manager in Charge iii.
- Collaborate with Senior SLT colleagues and multi-disciplinary teams to support individuals and their families.
This role requires flexibility and a willingness to respond to changing service user needs, working across multiple locations, including SMH North/ North-East Regions.
You will receive supervision from experienced Senior Speech and Language Therapists and the SLT Manager in Charge iii.
Requirements- Bachelor's degree in Clinical Speech and Language Studies or equivalent qualification in Speech and Language Therapy.
- Registration with CORU or eligibility for registration is a necessity.
- Experience working with individuals with intellectual disabilities and in multi-disciplinary teams is essential.
A valid driver's license and access to a car are necessary for this role.
