The Role

We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced individual to lead our maintenance teams in Dublin Stations. As a Mechanical Maintenance Team Leader, you will be responsible for ensuring the safety of staff and contractors, managing maintenance activities, supervising a team, and liaising with other departments.

You will work closely with the maintenance manager to prioritize tasks, schedule maintenance activities, and coordinate resources.

Your strong leadership skills, combined with your technical knowledge and experience in power station maintenance, will be invaluable in achieving our goals.

Key Responsibilities

  • Maintenance Coordination: Coordinate planned and reactive maintenance activities to ensure business continuity.
  • Team Supervision: Supervise a team of maintenance personnel and manage all people-related issues within the team or cross-functional teams.
  • Safety Focus: Ensure the safety of staff and contractors through compliance with safety systems, including permits to work, setting to work, and risk assessments.
  • Contractor Management: Manage contractors and contracts, ensuring that all necessary documentation is completed and maintained.

Required Skills and Qualifications

  • Leadership Skills: Proven ability to lead a team and motivate individuals to achieve their best.
  • Techincal Knowledge: Strong understanding of power station maintenance practices and procedures.
  • Safety Certifications: Possession of relevant safety certifications, such as a Safety Qualification.
  • Project Management: Experience in project management, including planning, coordination, and execution.
