  • Ensuring the continuous development of the Risk Management Framework.
  • Providing valuable insights and analysis of the risks affecting the company.

This position is based in Dublin, and you may be required to visit other Arch offices from time to time.

Risk Strategy and Appetite

Risk Policy and Oversight
  • Support the development of the risk strategy and the risk appetite framework, including defining KRIs to measure risk levels.
Risk Governance Framework
  • Take a lead role in the day-to-day operation of the Risk Governance Framework.
  • Monitor and challenge risk management practices.
  • Assist stakeholders in identifying risks and facilitate risk self-assessments.
  • Support investigations into risk events and implement remediation measures.
  • Validate controls and identify areas for improvement.
  • Escalate critical risk issues and collaborate on remediation efforts.
  • Work with the Risk Management team to ensure the Framework stays current and reflects best practices.
  • Ensure compliance with relevant regulations and legislation.
  • Enhance the Framework to ensure it remains comprehensive, consistent, and well-integrated.
  • Support stress testing, scenario planning, and emerging risk processes.
  • Draft risk policies and communicate them to stakeholders.
  • Collaborate with business functions and the Risk Management team to provide the 'risk perspective' for key projects.
  • Conduct Risk Assessments of functional areas and thematic topics.
  • Support climate risk and ESG frameworks operations.
  • Collaborate with the operational resilience team to ensure frameworks operate harmoniously.
Risk Reporting and Communication
  • Lead the preparation of risk information for internal and external audiences, including committees and boards.
  • Develop and maintain risk reporting with internal stakeholders.
  • Contribute to the completion of the annual ORSA reports.
  • Presentation at relevant Working Groups and Committees.
Risk Training and Development
  • Partner with the wider Management team to enhance AIEU's risk management training.
  • Deliver risk management training and ongoing support to stakeholders.
