Job Description

As a Home Care Support Worker, you will be responsible for providing care and support to individuals in their own homes.

Our clients are people who value their independence and wish to remain in the comfort of their own homes. We strive to provide them with high-quality care that enables them to live life to the fullest.

Responsibilities
  • Providing personal care, including bathing, dressing, and grooming
  • Assisting with meal preparation and feeding
  • Helping with toileting and all aspects of personal hygiene
  • Supporting with medication administration
  • Engaging in activities that promote physical and emotional well-being
Requirements

To succeed in this role, you must have:

  • Own transport and full clean driving license
  • Relevant qualification: Fetac Level 5 or QQI Level 5 Healthcare Support, equivalent or higher
  • Minimum of two former employer references
  • Proof of relevant qualifications i.e. Fetac/QQI Level 5 (Must have Care of the Older Person and Care Skills)
  • Fitness to Work Certificate from GP to work in this role
  • Good general health and willingness to undergo a medical if required
