Job Role:

About the Opportunity
  • We are seeking a compassionate and dedicated individual to join our healthcare team as a Support Worker.
Key Responsibilities
  • Provide personal care and support to service users, promoting their independence and well-being.
  • Conduct regular risk assessments and develop person-centred plans to ensure service users receive appropriate care and support.
  • Develop and maintain effective relationships with service users, their families, and other healthcare professionals.
  • Participate in ongoing training and development to enhance skills and knowledge in areas such as first aid, medication management, and communication techniques.
  • Collaborate with colleagues to achieve high-quality services that meet or exceed regulatory requirements.
Requirements
  • QQI Level 5 qualification (8 modules completed) or equivalent experience.
  • Full immunity to Hepatitis B and Titre Level, MMR, Tuberculosis & Varicella.
  • Residency in Ireland and right to work without restriction.
  • Ability to demonstrate empathy and understanding towards others.
  • Willingness to undergo Garda Vetting.
  • Candidates who have lived outside of Ireland for more than 6 months after the age of 16 will also need to hold International Police Clearance from that country(ies).
