Senior Structural Engineer Opportunity
We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Senior Structural Engineer to join our team in Dublin. As a key member of our multidisciplinary design team, you will work on a variety of projects across different sectors, including Commercial, Residential, Healthcare, Leisure, Industrial, Housing, and Education.
As a Senior Structural Engineer, you will be responsible for leading structural design teams, providing design input and overseeing the delivery of structural components of projects. You will also prepare project reports and communicate complex technical information clearly. Additionally, you will present design concepts via PowerPoint presentations, develop fee proposals and quality submissions for design contracts, and communicate with internal and external stakeholders.
Key Responsibilities:
- Lead Structural Engineer within multidisciplinary design teams.
- Design input and oversee delivery of structural components of projects.
- Prepare project reports (Planning, Tender, Construction) and communicate complex technical information clearly.
- Present design concepts via PowerPoint presentations.
- Develop fee proposals and quality submissions for design contracts.
- Communicate with internal and external stakeholders.
- Oversee preparation of design drawings and calculations for review.
- Undertake duties as Ancillary Certifier for C&S discipline.
- Manage design budgets financially.
Requirements:
- Chartered Engineer with Engineers Ireland or Institution of Structural Engineers.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills with effective workload management.
- Experience in structural engineering design delivery.
- Proficiency in MS Office Suite.
- Experience with structural design software (Robot and Tekla Structural Designer advantageous).
- Experience as Project C+S engineer on multidisciplinary projects, including client meetings.
