The MiCRA Technology Gateway provides wide-ranging technological expertise in several areas, including Sensing Technology, In-Vitro Bio-diagnostics, Sustainability & Environmental Testing, Bio and Pharma Technology, and Analytical Services and Research.

As a Business Development professional, you will play a crucial role in promoting the expertise and services provided by the MiCRA Technology Gateway to industry partners. Your responsibilities will include:

  • Developing business opportunities through the promotion of the MiCRA Technology Gateway's capabilities
  • Project acquisition and new project pipeline development
  • Engaging with industry partners to stimulate project engagement in applied research
  • Oversight of the operations of the MiCRA Technology Gateway in coordination with other Technology Gateway managers

To succeed in this role, you must possess strong leadership skills, a background in research and development, and the ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously. You will be supported by other Technology Gateway staff and TU Dublin academic principal investigators who will have expertise in the core technologies underpinning the MiCRA technical and research offering.
