Senior Grade Social Worker

Job Description:

This role is for a highly-motivated Senior Grade Social Worker to join our interdisciplinary team. The successful candidate will lead and be responsible for providing Social Work support to an assigned caseload.

Duties and Responsibilities:
  • Assessment and intervention with children and families
  • Clinical and performance supervision
  • Ongoing service delivery to children with disabilities and their families

The post holder will also provide support and supervision to social workers and link workers. Services are provided to children aged 0 – 18 years with physical, sensory, and/or learning disabilities, and/or developmental delay.

Required Skills and Qualifications:
  • Registered in the Social Work Register maintained by CORU
  • Maintain live annual registration on the Social Workers Register
  • Requisite knowledge and ability for proper discharge of duties
  • Three years relevant post-qualification experience
  • Eligible to work in the State
