Real-Time Analytics Solutions Developer
We are seeking a skilled developer to work with our team in designing, prototyping, and implementing next-generation high-performance real-time analytics solutions.
Responsibilities:
- Collaborate with R&D and application development teams to design and implement scalable real-time analytics platforms.
- Lead junior developers on the team to ensure successful project delivery.
- Contribute to the development of market-leading portfolio PL and risk platforms for latency-critical processes.
- Work with various technologies to provide state-of-the-art intraday analytics platforms used in risk and portfolio management systems.
- Develop highly scalable real-time platforms through application development and architecture.
Qualifications, Skills and Requirements:
- A minimum of 4 years of experience in KDB+ q application development on Linux, along with a good understanding of the Linux operating system.
- Experience in writing and maintaining feed handlers, real-time and historical databases, and exploring optimization opportunities in data storage and processing.
- Proficiency in working with multiple q processes interacting with each other in tandem, and routines written in C/C++/Python via IPC/WS/HTTP.
- Ability to write clean, testable code.
- Familiarity with computer networking concepts.
- Experience working with monitoring tools like Datadog, ELK stack, etc.
- A strong interest in financial markets and a desire to work directly with investment professionals.
- Excellent teamwork and communication skills, with a willingness to participate and help others.
- A drive to learn and experiment.
Nice-to-have:
- Experience building large-scale real-time portfolio risk and pl engines.
- Knowledge of KDB+ q or interfacing C/C++ with KDB.
