Senior Accountant Position

A dynamic and ambitious accounting practice in Dublin is seeking an experienced accountant to join their team on a permanent basis.


Key Responsibilities:
  • Manage a portfolio of clients across various industries, providing expert financial guidance and support.
  • Prepare accurate and timely financial statements for SME businesses, ensuring compliance with regulatory requirements.
  • Assist with audit and exempt files, utilizing industry knowledge and skills to deliver high-quality results.
  • Perform bookkeeping and payroll tasks, maintaining precise records and meeting deadlines.
  • Prepare VAT returns and company registrations, leveraging expertise in taxation and corporate law.
  • Supervise and mentor junior staff members, fostering a culture of excellence and professional development.

Requirements:
  • Minimum 3 years' experience in practice accounting, with a strong understanding of industry standards and best practices.
  • Membership in a recognized Accounting or Tax Institute, demonstrating commitment to ongoing professional development.
  • Familiarity with software packages such as Relate accounts, Receipt bank, and Thesaurus payroll, enhancing technical capabilities.
  • Strong commercial acumen awareness, enabling informed decision-making and strategic planning.
