Site Agent Position Overview

We are seeking an experienced Site Agent to lead our team on a large civil engineering project in Limerick. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in commercial management and a proven track record of delivering projects to high quality standards.

Main Responsibilities:

  • Maximise the commercial performance of the contract by ensuring accurate cost control, monitoring and reporting.
  • Collaborate with the Project Manager to develop and implement effective project delivery strategies.
  • Coordinate with works teams to ensure seamless project execution, including Foreman and Site engineers.
  • Maintain strict quality standards throughout the project lifecycle.

The successful candidate will possess excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to effectively manage and motivate the project team.

Key Qualifications:

  • Third-level qualification in Engineering or a related field.
  • Minimum 5 years' experience as a Site Agent or Senior Engineer, with a strong focus on commercial management and project delivery.
  • Proven track record of working with main contractors or subcontractors, with excellent negotiation and conflict resolution skills.
  • Strong understanding of Health, Safety, and Environmental regulations, with the ability to implement and maintain compliance across the project team.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office 365, SharePoint, Project, PowerPoint, and other relevant software applications.
