About the Role
This is an exciting opportunity to join our team as a Surface Maintenance Coordinator in Meath, Ireland. As a key member of our operations team, you will play a vital role in ensuring that all surface facilities are maintained to the highest standards and comply with regulatory requirements.
Main Responsibilities
- Coordinate contracts for site surface maintenance activities.
- Manage concentrate transport logistics and contract compliance.
- Oversight of all site services and contractor performance.
- Support departmental budgeting and financial planning.
- Participation in procurement of equipment and services.
- Leadership and support for site improvement projects and initiatives.
- Attendance and contribution to management meetings.
- Monitoring project progress, budgets, and delivery timelines.
- Development and update of SOPs for surface maintenance.
- Creation and delivery of training for surface operations.
- Ensuring compliance with EHS and HR standards.
- Maintenance of digital systems for contracts and safety.
- Tracking contractor KPIs and service performance metrics.
- Promotion of sustainability and environmental responsibility on site.
- Participation in emergency response and incident investigations.
Requirements
- Recognised degree or diploma in Engineering or equivalent.
- Qualifications in Business, Operations, or technical fields also accepted.
- Technical or industrial safety certification highly advantageous.
- Training in maintenance, production, or project management beneficial.
- Strong IT literacy with digital systems experience preferred.
- Minimum 5 years' experience in operations or facilities management.
- Proven contractor, compliance, and project coordination experience.
Additional Information
This is a full-time position, Monday to Friday, 7.5 hour days. On-call weekend cover may be required as part of a team roster.
