Delicatessen Assistant

  • We are currently seeking a highly motivated and experienced Delicatessen Assistant to join our team. As a Delicatessen Assistant, you will play a key role in providing exceptional customer service and ensuring the smooth operation of our food preparation and sales areas.

Responsibilities
  • Prepare and serve high-quality food in an efficient and cost-effective manner.
  • Manage daily kitchen operations, including breakfast, lunch, dinner, and chilled products, as directed by the supervisor.
  • Maintain effective stock management and portion control to ensure that all products are sold at optimal levels.
  • Ensure the work environment and facilities are clean and compliant with health and safety legislation.
  • Prioritize customer care and service, actively promoting the company's loyalty programme at every opportunity.
  • Carry out assigned checks following your training and ensure standards are maintained.
Requirements
  • You should have previous experience in a similar role, ideally within the food industry.
  • You should possess excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively in a team environment.
  • You should be flexible and available to work a variety of shifts, including weekends and evenings.
