Speech and Language Therapist

We are seeking an experienced Speech and Language Therapist to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a proven track record of delivering high-quality, family-centred therapy to children and adolescents.

The successful candidate will be responsible for assessing, diagnosing, and intervening with children who require speech, language, and communication support. They will work collaboratively with multidisciplinary teams to enhance clinical services and provide individual and group therapy sessions in-clinic and remotely.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Deliver comprehensive assessments and develop tailored therapy plans to meet the unique needs of each child.
  • Provide individual and group therapy sessions, including teletherapy and group therapy experience.
  • Collaborate with families, teachers, and other professionals to ensure seamless care coordination.
  • Maintain accurate client records and provide regular progress reports.
  • Support professional development through training and workshops to stay up-to-date on best practices.
Requirements:
  • Degree in Speech and Language Therapy (or equivalent).
  • CORU registration.
  • 1+ years post-qualification experience (preferably paediatric).
  • Experience working with children with additional needs, such as autism and sensory processing difficulties.
Desirable Skills:
  • Membership with IASLT.
