BIM Manager Position Overview
We are seeking an experienced BIM Manager to join our team and lead the development and implementation of BIM protocols, standards, and workflows within an architectural firm. This position involves managing the design and delivery of large technical projects, communicating with clients regarding BIM requirements, deliverables, and project progress, and facilitating collaboration among different disciplines and stakeholders.
The successful candidate will have a degree in BIM Management, Architecture, Engineering, or a related field, with a minimum of 6-8 years of experience as an Architectural BIM Manager. Proficiency in setting up and managing complex Revit models, creating Revit families, and scripting and programming to automate BIM processes is essential.
This role also involves working with multidisciplinary external design teams to ensure seamless integration of design elements using Autodesk Construction Cloud/BIM 360 Docs, publishing Revit, Navisworks, IFC, and DWG files, and attending virtual design review meetings. The successful candidate will oversee changes to the models, organizing and directing the work for the teams they manage.
