About the Role:

As a Caregiving Assistant, you will assist with daily living tasks such as bathing, dressing, and grooming. You will also engage in activities that promote social interaction and mental stimulation. Furthermore, you will provide emotional support and comfort to clients at the end of their life journey while maintaining their dignity and respect.

Responsibilities:

• Personal Care: assist clients with daily living tasks
• Companionship: engage in activities that promote social interaction and mental stimulation
• End of Life Care: provide emotional support and comfort to clients at the end of their life journey
• Maintain Clients' Dignity & Respect: treat each client with respect, kindness, and compassion at all times

Requirements:

• Personal experience and willingness to work towards QQI Level 5 or existing qualification in care skills and care of the older person
• Having your own transport for this role is an advantage
