Dublin, Dublin City, Ireland Journalofmusic Full time

The Journal of Music is seeking artists for its Artist Residency Programme, MAKE 2024. This initiative is a collaborative effort between Cork Midsummer Festival, Dublin Fringe Festival, Project Arts Centre, and Performing Arts Forum.

MAKE aims to provide artists with the opportunity to generate new performance work outside of the traditional writer-led model. Artists from all career levels are encouraged to apply, regardless of their previous experience.

During the residency, participants will have access to mentorship, group sessions, and facilities at The Tyrone Guthrie Centre in Annaghmakerrig. Successful applicants will receive accommodation, an artist fee, meals, and transport from Dublin.

To be considered for this programme, artists must demonstrate an ongoing project or new approaches to their practice. The application process requires an online form detailing previous work, project proposals, and expected benefits.
