Senior Accountant Opportunity

We are seeking an experienced Senior Accountant to join our team in Ireland. The successful candidate will have the opportunity to work with a diverse database of clients from various industries.

This role offers operational supervision of assignments, management of client relationships, and involvement in training of student trainees.

Responsibilities:

  • Operational supervision of assignments with a focus on audit, resourced from a combined pool of staff to achieve client satisfaction.
  • Management of the firm's relationship with clients, including service delivery and coordination of service offerings from other departments.
  • Preparation and presentation of reports to clients and partners on request.
  • Preparation and completion of audit/audit exempt financial statements.

Requirements:

  • A qualified Accountant (ACA, ACCA or equivalent).
  • Minimum 1 year PQE.
  • Currently working as a senior in a practice environment.
  • Experience of operational supervision of assignments and managing of client relationships.
  • Some tax experience desirable.
  • Thorough understanding of risk, Irish GAAP, FRS102, and awareness of current issues.
  • Proficiency in audit strategies, Terms of Engagement, FRS102, Irish and UK GAAP, and CA2014.
  • Capability to work with diverse clients across multiple sectors.
