Job Description:

We are seeking an experienced Facilities Maintenance Executive to join our technical operations team. This role involves managing maintenance activities, project delivery, and compliance with regulatory requirements.

Maintenance Management Responsibilities:

  • Develop and implement maintenance strategies to optimize efficiency and cost-effectiveness.
  • Manage service contracts, ensuring quality, efficiency, and cost control.
  • Conduct regular audits and inspections to identify and mitigate potential risks.
  • Maintain up-to-date records of maintenance activities and compliance documentation.

Project Management Responsibilities:

  • Lead and manage building services projects, including refurbishments, system upgrades, and new installations.
  • Prepare project budgets, schedules, and resource plans, ensuring timely and cost-effective completion.
  • Coordinate with architects, engineers, and contractors to ensure project goals are met.
  • Conduct risk assessments and ensure compliance with relevant construction and safety regulations.

Team Leadership & Stakeholder Management Responsibilities:

  • Lead, mentor, and develop a team of technical staff and maintenance personnel.
  • Collaborate with senior management, facilities teams, and external stakeholders to align objectives.
  • Provide technical advice and reports to senior management on maintenance and project activities.

Required Skills & Qualifications:

  • Degree or HND/HNC in Building Services Engineering, Mechanical/Electrical Engineering, Facilities Management, or a related field.
  • Minimum 10 years of experience in technical building maintenance and project management.
  • Professional certifications (e.g. IOSH, NEBOSH, CIBSE, or equivalent) are advantageous.
  • Experience in managing large-scale maintenance operations and building services projects.
  • Strong technical knowledge of M&E systems and building services management.
  • Project management experience, including budgeting, scheduling, and contractor coordination.
  • Strong leadership and team management skills.
  • Familiarity with health & safety regulations, building codes, and compliance requirements.
  • Ability to manage multiple tasks and prioritise effectively under pressure.
  • Strong communication and stakeholder management skills.

Location: Dublin / Hybrid Working

Duration: Permanent

Salary: EUR 80,000 per annum (depending on experience)
