Galco Group is seeking an experienced Spray Painter to work in our paint shop at our plant in Ballymount, Dublin.

As a key member of the Paint Division team, you will be responsible for applying various types of 2 pack paints, including intumescent paint, epoxy and zinc rich primers.

You will also be responsible for preparing and accurately masking metal surfaces, maintaining all spray equipment, and working to ISO 9001 standards.

To be successful in this role, you will have a minimum of 3 years industrial spraying experience, and be experienced in the accurate application of various 2 pack paints.

You will also possess strong understanding of health and safety within the workplace, good communication skills, and a team player attitude.

Additionally, you will be able to work to accurate dry film thicknesses, and be familiar with current quality control procedures.

Job Requirements
  • Applying 2 Pack Paints: You will be responsible for applying various types of 2 pack paints, including intumescent paint, epoxy and zinc rich primers.
  • Maintaining Equipment: You will maintain all spray equipment and ensure it remains in good condition.
  • Working to ISO 9001: You will work to ISO 9001 standards, ensuring high quality finishes and meeting customer expectations.
Requirements
  • Industrial Spraying Experience: A minimum of 3 years industrial spraying experience is required.
  • 2 Pack Paint Application: You must have experience in the accurate application of various 2 pack paints.
  • Health and Safety: You will possess strong understanding of health and safety within the workplace.
  • Communication Skills: Good communication skills are essential for this role.
  • Team Player: You will be a team player, working closely with colleagues to achieve high quality results.
  • Dry Film Thickness: You will be able to work to accurate dry film thicknesses.
