**Job Overview**We are seeking a Counselling Therapist to join our team. As a Counselling Therapist, you will be responsible for conducting assessments and individual counselling with clients, establishing appropriate counselling contracts, and managing clinical governance issues.The ideal candidate will have experience of conducting assessments, providing one-to-one therapy, and working with a range of client presenting issues. They should also have knowledge and experience of current child protection requirements and the ability to use IT to support counselling work.Responsibilities:
  • Conduct assessments and individual counselling with clients
  • Establish appropriate counselling contracts
  • Manage clinical governance issues
  • Communicate effectively with team members and clients
  • Maintain client records and databases
Requirements:
  • Experience of conducting assessments and providing one-to-one therapy
  • Knowledge and experience of current child protection requirements
  • Ability to use IT to support counselling work
  • Qualification at Level 7 or higher in a human science discipline or health and social care profession
