Frontend Engineer Role

A key member of our team, the Frontend Engineer delivers high-quality software on schedule, aligning with business goals. They thrive in a culture of high performance and enthusiasm, championing and contributing to software development practices that foster achievement, reward, and respect.

Working closely with Engineering Managers and Product Managers, they ensure the delivery of car rental booking technology that meets customer requirements.

  • Collaborate with teams to understand business needs
  • Work with peers to break down requirements into clear technical tasks
  • Take ownership of delivering technical tasks with high-quality code and tests
  • Meet project priorities and deadlines with their team
  • Develop an understanding of multiple product architectures and contribute to design discussions
  • Provide constructive feedback through timely code reviews
  • Maintain up-to-date technical skills and contribute to continuous improvement
Required Skills and Experience:
  • Experience in web markup, including HTML5 and CSS3
  • Ability to write modular, scalable, and clean code
  • Experience working in Agile environments
  • Experience building web applications for desktop and mobile
  • Knowledge of version control tools like Git
  • Experience writing unit, integration, and visual tests using frameworks like Jest and WebdriverIO
  • Experience with automated testing
  • Familiarity with Docker and CI/CD tooling
  • Familiarity with front-end build tools like Webpack
  • Good understanding of RESTful APIs
  • Experience with MongoDB is beneficial
  • Experience with AI tools like Copilot is beneficial
